Frozen Entree Makes a Delicious Side Dish
At Walmart I bought a single-serving ready-meal (frozen entrée) called Healthy Choice Zero Chicken Verde that cost $5.50 CAD (2-for-$11). Look for the second one in a later meal post. This one has 10 gm total carbs and 18 gm protein. I question the protein number, as it had very little chicken in it! And the entrée is quite small, so this is a fairly expensive dish.
However, here's the good news, the ingredients are reasonably clean and it was delicious! I added three English banger sausages, so the frozen entrée made a really lovely side dish. Note: Cauliflower doesn't usually sit well in my gut, so we'll see how this goes. [Update: I guess there wasn't enough cauliflower in this meal to bother my gut. Yay!]
