Sometimes I can’t be bothered with vegetables at all. Here’s a purely carnivore meal as an example. Below is my favourite purely carnivore meal: ribeye steak!
A very simple meal. Instant Pot beef brisket served with broccoli and kimchee,
Ground beef stew, Brussels sprouts, kimchee, chili oil. A bit spicy… and delicious!
A big a*sed salad with leftover julienned sausage patties, some feta cheese that was languishing in the fridge, red onion, organic Romaine lettuce, homemade Caesar salad dressing.
Ground beef stew with Brussels sprouts, broccoli and kimchee. Kimchee is a great condiment made from fermented cabbage. Very tasty and full of gut-friendly probiotics.
Costco’s Greenfield brand sausage patties, poached egss, grilled fennel and red onions, Brussels sprouts, broccoli. I could only eat two of the patties!
Poached eggs, corned beef, leftover mashed celeriac (with butter) and stir-fried veggies. A lot of food, but I ate it all!
Ground beef and pork stew, buttery mashed celeriac (celery root) and steamed asparagus.
Homemade ground beef and pork soup with storebought beef stock and lots of veggies: onion, garlic, celery, a little carrot, red pepper, cauliflower rice, canned diced tomatoes, Romaine lettuce; Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. This reminds me of the ground beef soup my friend Vicki very kindly made me when I had my wisdom teeth…
A fry-up with leftover cabbage, onions, mild Italian sausage, and mashed rutabaga (Swede), with cheddar cheese melted on top. The next day I made another fry-up as follows: corned beef, leftover cabbage, onions and rutabaga (Swede), with cheddar cheese melted on top, seasoned with onion and garlic powder.
