Pan-fried Breaded Smelt and Salad (Recipe Link)

Pan-fried, breaded, wild-caught lake smelt. Wow, like eating fish and chips in one dish... so yummy, so crispy! Romaine lettuce salad with red onion, red pepper, baby tomatoes, cucumbers, Ranch dressing. These are whole smelt; no need to clean them, you just eat the entire little fishies; you can't even tell they have bones or guts!

Note: I bought the smelt frozen at my local Asian market (T&T Supermarket for Vancouverites). The brand name of the smelt I bought is Searay.
